Call for Mentees: SEALNet Project Cambodia 2018-2019 Siem Reap "Less is More"
ELIGIBILITY
- High school and university students aged 15 to 20 years old
- Must be from Si em Reap, other provinces in Cambodia , or other countries
in Southeast Asia - Must have a good command of English
- Must be able to be fully present in Siem Reap from 5 to 18 August 2018
- Must be able to cover their own breakfasts , dinners , and accommodation
while they are in Siem Reap as well as their travel expenses to and from
Siem Reap. - We are looking for people with a growth mindset who is committed to solving social issues that are ravaging communities across Southeast Asia.
BENEFIT
Mentees will get:
- To expand their horizon of knowledge and importance of youth’s action on waste
management by interacting with mentors, fellow mentees and beneficiaries in the project - To discover more about themselves and their potentials as servant leaders through service
leadership training - To develop small-tests-of-change mindset after the end of project for their personal and
professional development
DESCRIPTION
With this enthusiasm in mind, SEALNet Project Cambodia 2018 - Siem Reap (PC18-SR) aims to inspire and empower the youths from local communities in Siem Reap to come together and work hand-in-hand to resolve waste-related issues through “Small Tests of Change.” Upon completion, we hope that they will start to see the impacts through small actions, learn to value those actions and the changes, continually repeat those actions and spread the awareness on the importance of waste management.
